“Design til terningkast tre?” (kveldsmøte at Norsk Form 27th feb. 2008)

Precisely two years since last time I attended a panel at DogA I was there again. Like last time, I was invited for having written a MA thesis about visual communication criticism. This time the theme was exactly that:

Why isn’t design criticized like other cultural phenomena, like music, film and art? Is design more than just topping and styling? Aren’t designers open for criticizm?

Together with journalist and art critic in Aftenposten, Truls Ramberg, and dean on Faculty of Design at KHiO, Dori Gislason, I presented my perspective (basically a summarization of my thesis), before there was a sort of an open discussion with the audience
