Welcome to Design Schizophrenia

On this website I will share my thoughts and ideas about design and culture, design in culture and design as culture. While doing all this reflection, I will remain in my day job, which is to be a graphic designer in the eminent design company Blæst. This work will of course influence the opinions posted in this blog I will also use the opportunity to show off and reflect on some of the new work Blæst do.

I am also writing articles for the Norwegian design magazine Snitt, and will post the articles I write for them too. These will be in Norwegian, but I will do my best to write summaries in English. The Snitt articles will also probably serve as starting points for further reflections, which will be in English.

The main purpose of this blog, however, is for me to have a reflection space. I am an advocate of Dino Karabeg’s research (at University of Oslo) about information design (which in this context has a different, wider, meaning than in it’s regular use), and will spend quite some space on this topic.
